In order for us to get started, we will need some collect existing site information, conditions, and data. We will then have to generate a base drawing of the existing conditions of your property which will help us through the design process through completion. The site information can be accomplished by many different ways and pending on the service that you request. In most cases, we can develop a base drawing from the internet requesting a survey from the Geographical Information Systems (GIS) that is provided through your local municipalities, pictures, and key measurements from your or an architects plan. At e-landscape designers, we have a systematic approach for you to get us this information. This approach ultimately cuts design costs down. If the service that you are requesting will require more information, we will have to generate a base drawing from our e-designers or a professional surveyor to complete the design. We will walk you through most economical way to gather this information based upon our initial meeting.

After the existing condition information and data are compiled, we then will develop feasibility studies to determine what kind of opportunities and constraints  that the site will allow for your design. We will also have to review local governing regulations and adhere to any design standards. For instance, if local zoning codes indicate that you will have to include two deciduous shade trees for your property, we will have to oblige to the request of those specific laws.

Depending of the service that our clients request, our e-designers will provide assistance and advice in handling the construction of the design implemented by the client themselves or a third-party contractor. We can also provide a multitude of services that will assist our clients in construction of their design including construction management, bid analysis, awarding, and contract review. All of our services may include or act as an add-on feature to your project. Find out more about e-landscape consulting.

After an approval of the concept, we will then work out the final details of the design. Our e-designers will provide a plan drawn to scale that can be used for final construction. The plan will call out plant material, pavement material, dimensions for field layout, and many other detailed information that would assist in the construction of the design. We then will make any necessary adjustments to appease our clients without damaging the integrity of the original concept design.

Your personal e-designer will develop a conceptual plan. This plan will be very loose in nature consisting of bubbles diagrams and shapes that show approximate sizes of garden elements that relate to your existing conditions and your preferred design style. This approach give us the ability to accommodate your preferences easily, make any assessments on the impact of the design, and gets our designers thinking of the methods of construction or implementation. We will can easily design around your garden element preferences or make recommendations that would work well in the design.

You, the client, and an e-designer will have a initial meeting to discuss what your goals are for your project and what services fit your needs. Depending on your service type, we will follow a series of steps to give you the final product. For example, when a household good, like a bar of soap, has to go through a series of steps in order for that good to end up in your soap dish. At e-landscape designers, we also have a series of steps in delivering our designs. The design stages are outlined as follows:
